This singular understanding of two parallel systems gives Marie-Claude a unique, highly pragmatic expertise. Marie-Claude is president of the legislative review committee of the Ordre professionnel des urbanistes du Québec (OUQ). In 2011, she was the recipient of the distinguished Mérite du conseil interprofessionnel du Québec award, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the field of urban planning. Marie-Claude was also appointed by the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec (OUQ) to sit at the Table des organismes professionnels. Marie-Claude represents the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec (OUQ) on the Table des organismes professionnels and represents Lemay as part of the In.SITU chair in research and innovation. This chair produces comparative research on integrated transport and urban planning strategies for all Canadian metropolitan areas and certain exemplary European metropolitan areas.
