Eric has more than 25 years of architectural design experience, including 15 years co-leading his own, award-winning practice.

As a founding principal of Toker + Associates (merged with Lemay in 2017), Eric continues to lead Lemay’s Calgary-based architectural team, soon to be known as Lemay + Toker. He has more than 25 years of architectural design experience, including 15 years co-leading his own, award-winning practice.

Eric has delivered extraordinary projects throughout Canada, for such diverse markets as institutional, post-secondary, municipal / community, the arts and retail. With a master’s degree in architecture from Montreal’s McGill University, his background in architectural history and theory informs his passion for revitalizing heritage buildings. He has guided many projects from initial sketches into design, documentation and construction. He is committed to research and education; has directed a design team at the University of Calgary; and has lectured at the University of Lethbridge. Eric is a past chair of various community planning committees and the recipient of a service award from the Federation of Calgary Communities. Eric is a registered architect in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario.
