Our BDO project won a grand prize in the “Office over 20,000 sq. ft. (1,860 m2)” category. The Grands Prix du Design highlighted the boldness of this realization for the accounting firm: an off- the-beaten-track ensemble with biophilic design that integrates natural ventilation and lighting with majestic vegetated surfaces. Embodying harmoniousness and workplace well-being, this project shows how a powerful concept can convince more traditional companies to innovate in their creation of unique work environments. The Toronto-based concept will be deployed at BDO regional offices across Canada.
In addition, our Place Vauquelin redevelopment project was honoured in the “Public Landscape Architecture Project” category. The jury rewarded this multidisciplinary success that reflects Montreal’s urban evolution as it showcases the site’s heritage. This is a second accolade for the project, which recently won a National Award in Urban Design from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA). Fingers crossed for the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) Awards next May in Vancouver!
