The architectural vision behind new Lumenpulse head office

News February 6, 2017

Lumenpulse President François-Xavier Souvay recently spoke with La Presse to explain the architectural solution behind the lighting specialists’ new headquarters in Longueuil.

When his company grew from 70 to 350 employees, Mr. Souvay decided to relocate from Montreal to across the river, from an area of 24,000 m2 to one of 46,000. The new space will allow Lumenpulse to incorporate an “experiential centre” demonstrating the importance of lighting fixture choice, a priority for the specialist in architectural lighting.

Mr. Souvay wanted a living space that would speak to Lumenpulse’s image and values, and Lemay’s transdisciplinary approach delivered, with both the architectural and interior design. Through an architectural branding exercise, the LemayLAB team defined the project’s vision and needs, to create an environment showcasing those qualities essential to the company’s success: innovation, collaboration, communication and transparency.

Work on the new Lumenpulse head office should be complete by the end of this summer.
